Ramshorn Snail Question

I know they are pests, I know they overpopulate, and people HATE them, but I have a question LOL!
I keep my population WAY down in my tank by feeding my fish a diet rich in snail meat ;) The fish eat them and either swallow the shell or spit it out. Depending on the fish- But anywho, I have about 6-10 Ramshorn snails that I have been allowing to grow big. And by big, I mean they are well over dime sized and probably only about 6 months old.
I was wondering if anyone knows how big they do end up getting? I think they are beautiful, which is why I let some of the chosen ones live long lives...LOL!!

Not much bigger than that, Ive seen nickel sized but not larger than that really.

Not everyone hates them! I love em. I rank them just below MTS and just above pond snails as far as asthetics and positive benefits, none of which I hate and all of which I have in my tanks.


There are certainly those of us who could do without them though. Eh hobbs? lol

I want to get my hands on MTS in the WORST WAY!!! I cant find anyone that has any in my area.... :(

How I got my originals was just my going to petshops and asking if I could have the "pest snails" and picking the mts out of the pond snails which I didnt want at the time.

I have a quite beautiful species which I think is [Only Registered Users Can See Links.] but the spots on my guys are darker than in those pictures.
