new 72G bowfront from CL

Just picked up a 72 gallon bowfront with matching stand on CL for $160. No light or filter though.

Definately going to be heavily planted.

I think I'll be stocking it with either firemouths (not sure how many) or small tetras like neons.

The LFS has 2 red tailed barracudas, maybe those with 2-3 firemouths and a catfish?

I'm new to planted tanks. I'm thinking of a canister filter, not sure what would be best?

Lighting will be atleast a four foot T5HO fixture.

Any thoughts?

I would skip the barracudas as they grow to over 10" and would probably eventually try to eat your firemouths.

As for lighting a 2 bulb HOT5 would be a good fixture and filtration an XP3 paired up with either an AC110 would make for awesome filtration. If you just wanted 1 canister go for the XP4...however you can usually get the XP3 and the 110 for less.
