Hello, i just joined the forums looking for help and tips on my soon to come 30 gal tank with cichlids. This website looks great and a lot of the people seem really nice :thumb:

30G is a great size to work with! I'm sooo jealous lol, personally can I recommend the Oscar cichlids? They remind me of dogs that live underwater :c5:.

Oscars are too big for a 30g. They need at least a 55g.

Ouch, i'm sorry. The biggest tank I have is a 20G so i've always just dreamt about the Oscar and never really looked into there minimum requirements because I always knew I didn't have enough.
