who here uses aquarium putty like milliput?

I've seen that it cures under underwater but can you actually use it completely underwater or do you have to remove water till it hardens then fill after a few hours?

Thanks, chris

There is one that hardens underwater. I have been investigating stuff to use to repair my snails shell. Picking some up next week

Just regular expoxy? or that brand specifically?

I use the cheapo marine two part expoxy quite a bit (the green stuff, dries kinda white but can turn pinkish underwater). Works great, cures underwater, and is fish safe, even before it cures. Whats not to like?

I've used this stuff in my reef tank

[Only Registered Users Can See Links.]

It's not a bad product. If you are farmilar with how to install floor titles, this product is not as good as the morter that you use to hold the titles to the subfloor, but it is more like the grout you use to hold the tiles in place.

Completely safe even for a reef tank and the more sensative corals and fish. You can apply it unde rwater and it will cure under water

I hope I did not confuse you more by the example

all these products seem to have the same general ingredients and description of what I'm looking at so I'm gonna go for it.

I was just wondering if there was a difference between hardens and cures as all the ones I'm finding for sale say "cures underwater" but its not clear if you know what I mean.

Cheers guys :)

The one I use gets hard under water. At least for this product, cure and harden mean the same thing
