I just had a woman drop off a huge box of lava rock and a bag of about 30 Water Hyacinths for free. The fish are going nuts over the Hyacinth, because they were packed with "pond life" mostly planaria. The dwarf gouramis are really going to love it, it will make a good framework for their bubble nests. I have to clean all the lava rock (don't know where it been), but once I get it in the tank the kribs are going to love it and I am going to let my java fern root all over it. I am a very happy aquarist right now :)

Hard to get anything to grow on lava rock. I have it in my tank for that reason, algae is gonna be stalled.:thumb:

You're extremely lucky. What other pond life is now in your tank.
