For starters I would not eat any fish suggested? :c10:
There are many fish that can fill the roll of a focal point and don't understimate the impact of a small school of one type of fish as well. The most important thing is that it is a fish that you love and that can be housed in your aquarium.
Good luck and happy hunting for your perfect fish.
It looks like he just made a typo, hungryhound.

Preferably fish who will visit all parts of the tank. Guppies is a great suggestion.
Cardinal Tetras with some albino corys, as another suggestion? Very contrasting...

I have a planted 30 gallon in my bedroom with a school of neons and some diamond tetras as the focus. I feed them when I lie down every night and watch them for half an hour or so before I go to sleep. Its my favorite tank.
I need a remote for the light though!

I agree. A whole lot of neon's would look nice in that tank and perhaps some coreys on the bottom. A black background would make the colors of the fish pop.

I use a black background and substrate with a blue spectrum light - it really shows off the fish!

Ooh, sounds nice!
Is there a photo of it somewhere?
Could you put it here so we can all appreciate it?
