Last night I stopped at the LFS and of course had to buy something. I got a dwarf honey Gourami. He is a pretty cute little guy. He is already eating well and gets along well with my other tank mates. Well I guess im not sure if it is a he or she so I should call it an it for know lol. Any easy ways to tell?

Good luck with him. If it is a real honey the males will be a bit bigger and have longer fins, if it is a dwarf gourami with the honey colors then it is a male, the females would be drab and grey.

Any idea on the gender of my new fish friend? Sorry I couldn't get a better pic

Im pretty sure it's male I could be wrong though.

If you order though's fish don't put my betta in with the gourami. You might end up with a dead betta or gourimi on your hands if you do.

That looks like a real Honey. I would say male as well.

I wont put it in there lol. It will be in there. I jsut bought a new 10g that it will probably go in.

Thanks guys! yea I was thinking male too, but I dont know a great deal about Gourami.
