Just a quick how to for those needing to request an activity award.
Go to the main forum topic list.
click on awards and medals
scroll down to the award you want to request
on the righthand side you will see a request award link
click on this, fill out the required spaces
submit
William will attend to requests when he can.

I already requested it for you trop, but take a look so you know next time.
I put this thread in because I figure there are many users that don't know how to do it, or that they need to request it.

Best to do it cracks way so William doesn't get stuff in his private email, administrators email, PM's, etc. He can keep better track if awards are all in the same area.

And please..........if you have already requested your award, do not request it twice and make sure you have requested the correct award.
Thanks team

Just bumping this up
It is very important that only the person wanting the award request it, or as Hobbs has said, there is to much confusion if others request it for you.

How does one keep track of what awards to request? For example, the 500 thread starter award. How would I know the number of threads that I've started over the course of the time that I've been posting here? Thanks.

Go to Search (between New Posts and Blog links), and choose Advanced Search. In the top right of the form, enter your user name (there is smart search to help you find your username). Underneath the username box, there is drop-down box with a default choice of Find Posts by User. Change that to the other choice, Find Threads Started By User. Click on Search Now, and you'll see the total number of threads started underneath the Log Out button.

Ahh sweet! That worked perfectly, thanks for the helpful reply!
I posted more than 250 posts ( not threads ) and have roughly 444 rep. points but no awards ( bronzes ) I have requested yesterday but it didn't work:11:

Once you put in your request, William usually processes the request one a week, on the following Sunday or Monday. It's not an automated process, so you will need to wait a few more days.

You will get the awards the next time William hands them out.
