I'd makeover my tank from SE Asia biotope to apistogramma tank 2 weeks ago and I would like to share some pictures of my humble apisto tank.
plants: java fern, anubias nana, crypt and moss.
fish: 4 apistogramma cactuoides (1 male, 3 females) and 1 albino bristlenose plecostomus.
The water is yellowish because of the tannins from driftwoods and almond leaves.

Your apisto's must luv that tank. It's perfect for them.
I saw some of those cichlid stone caves for sale on line. It's nuts what they charge for them but they sure are a neat idea, aren't they? At least I think that's what you have there for his cave.

Thanks for the compliment. I like the caves too; small and simple compared to the common vase. The color does mixed well with the surrounding and the substrate. The apisto caves are readily available in the my lfs and I must say both caves are quite expensive if you consider their small size.
I think I'll be buying 1 or 2 more just in case if the other females are fighting for their own hiding/ breeding place.

Thanks Sandz and Cassie. I'd like to share more pictures but at the moment the tank is contaminated by ich. I'm treating them with API ich medication and the tank look darker with blue stain. Hopefully no death after the treatment is over.

In the last few days, I noticed the male keep chasing 2 females away from the area where the front cave is. He seems not chasing the BN pleco or other single female who has occupied the front cave. One particular female usually stay near the back of the tank where the big almond leave is and often come out during feeding time only.
I am thinking that they are mated pair (the male and the female who occupied the front cave) but I couldn't check under the cave to see if there are any eggs. Is this normal behaviour to see the male chasing other 2 females in the tank? I don't see any chasing in the first 2 weeks after introducing them in the tank. Should I remove the other 2 females? Or should I wait till I treat the tank from ich?

The tank look more clearer now after I added active carbon in the filter. The active carbon is to remove the medication I used to treat ich in the tank.
All four apistogramma cacatuoides survive and live happily in the tank!

Thanks CassieLEO and flydustydawg.
@flydustydawg: It's probably due to the fact that the 10g is my one and only tank in the house! LOL Maybe you could try something similar with your empty 10g tank? ;)
I've loads of more pictures to share. :)
