i believe that your looking for stocking suggestions? (may want to word your posts a little better to avoid confusin). for small fish danios are pretty nice and active fish. i love black neon and blood fin tetras. you could set a tank up with an opaline gourami, a school or two of tetras (research before you make a decision, you dont want anything nippy). i love corys and in a 55gal you could get a nice school going on. clown plecos are very cool loking and stay small, but they do need wood to rasp on. rubber lips and bristle nose would also fit in nicely. cherry shrimp are cool but may end up being a snack for the gourami.
as far as plants go in very fond of hygrophilia difformis, and hygrophilia polysperma. anubias makes a great plant and my corys love hanging out on the leaves. java fern almost makes a nice plant, and IMO really accents hygrophilia polysperma nicely.
what is an under gravel heater? and i dont quite see how posting pictures of rock and wood will help you find some?( i really think im missing/ misunderstanding some important info in your post)
also male molly kid, commas make lists ten times easier to read.

just realized this was posted in the classifieds. could edit my old post. disregard my old post as it was just suggestions, unfortunately i have nothing im willing to part with. for cheap stone you could always check out a landscape place, if you live near a creek/stream that isnt polluted you could always just go for a walk and pick up everything you like!
