I just had a quick question about our Oscar. We just recently moved him into a bigger tank and he's not taking the move so well. We made sure the tank was the same temperature as his old one and we ran it for 24 hours before adding him. We put our pleco in first but now Oscar (thats what we named him) won't eat or do anything but hang out on the bottom. if you could help or have any suggestions about what we should do that would be awesome.

Thanks!

did you cycle the new larger tank, or bring the filter over from the smaller tank? Have you tested the water parameters in the new tank?

In addition to the previously stated, Oscars are the drama queens of the fish world. They will quite honestly pout and lie on the bottom of the tank for days on end from being moved muchless eat. Best thing you can do is give the fish time and keep water quality up...he will eat in due time, their stomach eventually gets the better of them.

Mine are such little drama queens too. Even if I just move something in my tank, they will sit on the bottom and sulk. That is, until I drop some massivore pellets in for them...
