not eating?

my bala shark doesn't seem to be eating. I got him about a week ago and I have never seen him eat. Any ideas?

I've heard of bala sharks being shy to eat around ppl. and will eat after you leave.

If he is shy you may still be able to hear him from a little ways off - they sound like me when I'm eating ribs

Can you see lots of uneaten food floating around the tank / on the substrate after a feed? Even 24 hours later?

He may well be a "shy' eater, or maybe even deciding to eat when your lights are off.

If you can see lots of food not being eaten, then I'd remove all uneaten food and try a different brand or type of food.

7 lemon tetras

the rest seem to get food
no excess food... it all gets eaten

thats odd. before i got rid of mine they always ate like pigs
