What to put in a ten gallon????

I want to get a ten gallon tank, but I am unsure of what to put in it. Any suggestions. No bettas or inverts.

Also any suggestions for a cheap starter kit? Links would be great.

There are definitely a lot of options for a ten gallon tank such as tetra, rasbora, sparking gourami, dario dario, pygmy cory, GBR, glass catfish, kuhli loach etc.

Here is a interesting small fish with a bunch of personality.One to a 10 would not hurt.microctenopoma ansorgii (orange bushfish)It is from africa and is related to the leopard ctenopoma.max size is 3 inches.here is a picture of one.
