New Fry

Hi,
My platy has just had babies:19: , had 10 in the breeding trap this morning but 5 escaped into the tank, transfered the remaining into my 25L fry tank lets hope I can spot the rest.

Woo-hoo! I also have platy fry. Unfortunately, the mother died while giving birth to the second batch of babies, but had one just before she passed. They're a lot of work, but worth it.

I have a 10g livebearer tank. I dont save the babies. If they get eaten by the other guppies, so be it. If they dont, i put them in the 55 so bruce (my severum) can have a snack.

My local store takes fry and gives you store credit or trades for other fish. I'd never let mine get eaten! :D

how much do they give you per fry? per adult platy?
