So today i got 4 new additons to my tank. 1 albino cory (now 2), 1 clown pleco,
and 2 apistos, i believe they are a pair, the man helping me get them said it was a little hard to tell, but he told me that the 2 i got where constantly by each other and that one of them had a rounded bottom fin, and the other more pointed and long one. They are so cool! they are about an inch long and im excited to see them big. The LFS is getting GBR tommorow, and i was wondering if i could get a pair of those as well? What i want as far as stocking goes is 2 male guppies 4 female guppies 2 corries 2 clown plecos 3 neon tetras 3 black tetras 2 Apistos and 2 GBR. I have evrything except the guppies and rams, but i dont know if adding 8 fish at once is to much of a bioload. I have a 36g and i dont know if im already maxed out as it is.

Sounds like it might be close to full, but I am no expert on some of these fish. It also depends on the filtration of your tank.

I really like Apistos as well. They are very neat little fish. I dont know much about them. I think I am going to look into getting some for my self.

I'll encourage you to not buy female guppies unless it's to provide food for your apistos or rams.

Before you get more clown plecos, please study them. They are not algae eaters. They are wood raspers and they hide most of the time. If you need to see your fish more than once a month, this isn't a great pick. A small school of otos will eat algae and are more publicly active. Although they can be very shy. Bristle noses come in several colors and patterns and they can easily breed in a 36g.

Cories are gregarious. You should be aiming for five or more.
Normally I'd suggest pygmies for your tank
C. pygmaeus these will shoal at mid level
C. Hastatus
C. hasbrosus
C. cochui

But as there are a lot of apistos to chose from, pygmies might not survive.
