Have these filters gotten more expensive in the last few months or is it my imagination? Seems to me they are about $40 more than previously.

Also seems to me that the Eheim Pro is taking center stage to the Classic. I wonder if they are trying to phase out the classic.

I have no idea about US prices, but around here (Norway and Europe in general) they are now comparable to Eheim, which was not the case when I got my Fluval 303. People looking to save money now seem to be getting decent quality Am-Top filters instead. I don't know if they are avaiable in the US.

For awhile, the Fluvals were a bit cheaper than the Eheims but now they are more expensive and of course the Eheim Pro's are out of sight.
