Ball Python breeding season is underway!

This is my first year breeding BP's and so far it has been alot of fun! Out of my 3 mature females being paired...This has to be the pairing that I am most excited about! These two snakes have a 25% chance of making Blue Eyed Leucistic offspring!

Thank you! I have had the joy of raising both them from hatchlings to adults! The girl used to have a pretty nasty attitude, but grew out of it in the last few months.

That is awesome! I spent a couple years as an edjucational animals intern for the Oregon Zoo. When I worked there we had two wild caught balls that were taken in from someone's attic. They had the meanest attitude when it came to being handled by everyone who had touched them. I didnt know this until I had both in my hands, one in each hand and was admiring their awesome coloration. Next thing I know I have them cuddling up and never once got one snip of aggression from them. Its really weird how a snakes temper changes. After that whole incident I ended up being "Snake Man" and they put me in charge over all the reptiles they kept. Awesome experience. Im proud to say those two little snakes made quite an impact on many a childs life after we got them into our edjucational program.

I wish I had the space to get myself a cute little BP in with my tanks. Good luck with your little wrigglers!
