my kribs had mini kribs about a month ago there started off with about 30 ish and i was sure some would not survive, after a few weeks in a community tank with gourmais, rosy barbs and cories i moved them to there own tank with mum and dad, who had proven to be excellent parents as i had lost none. After moving to the tank the numbers droped and bit and i thought the move and killed some and the parents had got to them first. I opened my canister today to clean it and found 6 slightly pale and shaken kribs happily living in the mulm in the bottom part of the filter i could not believe it as i netted them and put them back in the tank where they are happily eating black worms now

edit i spelt the title wrong but cant change hopefully a mod soon will

wow haha..might want to put some foam around the intake so they dont get sucked in again =p

they are too big now, even the majority of the ones in the filter are the same size and the others and are really growing now, but i definitly will for the next batch which should be soon given the parents shaking and twitching again

my friend's african cichlids had had babbies at one point and he had no idea. Till he randomly decided to clean out his canister filter and he found not a fry but a baby fish, at least a month into development....he survived for a month in pure canister filter darkness scrabing around for food that got sucked in.
