Cleaning the gravel

I have a quick question about cleaning food (extra that falls to the bottom) from the tank. (I did search but didn't see anything)

What should I use to clean the extra food that falls into the gravel out of my tank?:ssad:

A shiphon hose works really well and almost everyone uses that. You could find one for a couple $ at any petstore. thumbs2:

Also called a gravel vacuum, easily purchased at a Walmart. Necessary equipment for aquarists.

Bottom feeders such as cories and loaches work very as well, but I'd still vacum the gravel everyonce in awhile.
