I've had my turtles for roughly two years. I've never thought to research them or learn much about them because they sortof popped up in my life. I've been doing good with them. Big tank, and a light, water and rocks.
Anyway, I didn't notice till after I cleaned my turtle tank today, and was putting him back in that his eyes are swollen. I'll admit it, his tank was dirty. I think it was the messy water that may have infected his eyes. I've never felt sooo bad about slacking off so don't be too mean! The other turtle is fine and full of energy, but I'm pretty worried. I'm far from a vet and was hoping that maybe there is something I could do to heal him.
I've seperated him from the other and have been keeping him in a warm bowl of water. Do you think that there is a drop or something I could buy at a pet shop? Or am I going to need something special? I'm at a loss and upset with myself and sad for the turtle.
