My crayfish, thats about 5 inches long went through a molt the other day. His shell looks good, other than a small pink area on his shell. I took him out to look at him and it just looks pink, and looks like something might have bit him while he was still soft from molting.
He lives in a 55 gallon tank, with a Rena PX3 running (350 GPH) and a AC70 on it too. The water conditions good, nothing of nothing, PH of 7.5. Cycled tank for about a year.
He is acting fine, and eating fine. Hes aggressive as ever, and doesnt act and different. I was wondering what, if anything, I should do about this? I have a 10 gallon sick tank but it is being used as a quarantine for a Gourami I just bought.
Heres a pic of his sore area...
