Bet you never seen these (Rhamdia nicaraguensis)

Thougth I would post some pics of my new fish starting with this species,
Rhamdia nicaraguensis.

I have 5 of them at the moment but will add 4 + 5 more to the school if they do well in the pond. The species is found in lake nicaragua as well as some rivers near lake nicaragua. They are usually found in the same water as Jaguar, convicts and pastel cichlids. Fat sleeper are also a common species in the watern where you find there but they are common in all fresh and brackish water bodies around here.

The fish in the pic is about 8-10 inch.

How big is your pond?

I have several indoor ponds. (allthough not all are filled yet as i am still working on things in the new house. They are in the smallet which is about 480 gallons. The pond is setup with a similar setup to that in the wild with cichlids and fat sleepers as companions as well as one yet unidentified species.

Awesome fish William and i'm totally jealous of the indoor ponds! The wife and I hope to do something similar in the near future.

Thanks for the kind words. I will post pics of the pond and more inhabitants as soon as I get a light on it and have installed the parrot branches.

More or less no one seen them. hardly even any pictures around but it is a shame because they are very nice with their golden color.
