I went to a fish store thats far away. they always have exotic fish and plecos, like zebra plecos for 50$, and they have tons of discus. one of the coolest fish was a couple of huge blue arowanas for 200 regular 400
anyway, i saw the weirdest thing- veiltail oscars. they had the hugest and longest tails ive ever seen. is this a common strain in oscars now?

Not really, but if you keep an eye out for them or have a good LFS you can find them.

The oscar my nephew lost a couple of months ago was a veiltail, he was a nice looking fish.

and their price was cheap, 10$ for a medium one.
DAM, i want that blue arowana. theyre so pretty
I dunno...don't like them - think the normal tiger oscars look the nicest...
If you're getting the arowana...get a 300g long tank...I feel so sorry for them stuffed in small tanks they can't move in...

I also prefer the normal finned oscars.
Arowanas are nice, especially the blues. Unfortunately it is one of those fish that most cannot properly care for due to their size.

there were 2 blue fin arowanas and 1 sliver, each had their own 25g. pretty cramped

fullgrown, and they had good length to them. probably 12"-15"

probably was that big. i was busy looking at other fish. another cool thing was a almost fullgrown clown knife in a 75g. pure MONSTER.
