With my convicts the male did all the work.

The male in the pair I had did the heavy lifting too. He made their whole "nest" for them. She took care of the babies, he would guard them all. The female was the most agressive. She lives in a 100 gallon tank with her mate, a parrotfish and a air of jack dempseys. They are all over 8 inches long, and she is only about 2 inches long, but when she has eggs, watch out! She rules that tank!
