When you go to put a fish in your tank and you go through acclimating the fish, once you get it in there and it is acclimated you won't have any problems after that?
Say a fish is reccommended for a PH of 7.0 but you have water around 8.0....if you acclimate it EXTREMELY slow...once you put it in will it be fine forever or will the 1.0 difference stress it out until it dies?

as long as its a slow acclimation and the new PH acclimation is kept close to constant, its okay. people have kept neons in 8 PH by slow acclimation

Depends on the fish. That's why it's best to buy fish that can live in higher pH levels.
Zachish, you need not start another new thread for each question. You can ask several questions in one post or several questions under one thread. We want you to ask all the questions you need to ask but possibly it can be done without starting a new thread each time?
You've started 38 threads in a week and it's getting confusing.

Well sorry but stuff comes up as the week goes on.....I don't make a whole list of questions and post them up one at a time.
