So I returned my female guppies to PetSmart today. They said they'd quarentine them and if they were found to be in good health they'd go back up for sale. I hated to do it but they were just not working out in my community. They were eating everything in site and even harassing the Pandas over scraps of food in the gravel.

I bought 4 really tiny zebra danios and they seem to working out nicely. I think the Guppy and the White Cloud are enjoying having some zippy company too.

Here's what I have in my 10g now:
1 male fancy guppy
1 white cloud (left from the 3 I had)
2 panda corys
2 oto cats
4 zebra danios

I'm wondering if I can add one more Panda cory and 3 Harlequin Rasboras to the tank without it being overstocked. I do weekly PWC and my water parameters are perfect.

White clouds are schooling fish. A single cloud won't be very happy, but maybe he'll team up with the dannios.

You are stocked at max depending of course on what filtration you have and the degree to which you perform PWCs. What is your filtration and how much water do you change out weekly?

I had more White Clouds but I'm down to 1 and for some reason I'm not finding them anymore. When I do see them they do not look healthy. I don't think I want more anyway. My WC does seem to be enjoying the dannios. He's swimming around much more now that they're in there.

I have a stock filter that came with the tank. It uses those charcoal filled filter inserts. I think its a Power Whisper 10. I change out about 30% now but I can do a 50% PWC every week if that's what it takes to add the Rasboras. The ones I found are really small - under an inch. I'm already shopping for my 20 gallon long tank too for when these tiny fish grow up.

OK, I was just watching my community and I think I'm gonna hold off on any Rasboras until I get a bigger tank (shhhh, don't tell DH!) There is a lot of zipping around going on in there. I think there's plenty of fish for now. I may still get one more Panda but that's it. I just get so fish-happy when I go to the LFS.

One day there will be a cure for that, but until then we all have to self-medicate and self-regulate!

Geez, I just reread my 2nd post. I was pleading like a fish junkie! "I'll do bigger water changes if that's want it takes." So would a bigger filter help me out any? Hee, Hee.

Just heard a clip of the song on iTunes. I used to listen to that kind of music but now that I have a 4 year old its hard to find time to play stuff with spicy lyrics. HA!
