It's so nice to look in my tank and see clear glass instead of hitchhiker snails all over it!

For months I have had problems with those pesky snails all over my tank glass and plants. I finally got two assassin snails a few months ago and they began to go to work but I think there were way too many snails for them to control. Well, I now have a total of six assassin snails in my tank and they have really been chomping down on them pesty snails thumbs2: They are not all gone but the majority of them are. I'm hoping that they will now be under control.

I highly recommend these cool little snails for anyone who is tired of looking at nothing but pesty snails all over your tank glass and plants.

I love my assassins. I just moved a couple of them to my 2.5g to knock out the ramshorns in there (I introduced 2 of them because they looked cool, knowing I shouldn't, and now there are billions).

lol... you live and learn. Isn't it crazy how fast those snails multiply?

I love the shell on the assassin snails. They add a little interesting look to my black substrate when they are hunting down their prey!

They do a good job, can take them a while to get population under control. Assassins won't breed quickly and overtake the tank either. If the pest snails are breeding too quickly, even assassins may not be able to do the job. Assassins and cutting back on amount being fed in the tank will work well. Personally I overfeed the tanks, in order to get pest snails to breed more, so my assassins can get more food and breed:p The assassins seem to sell fairly well:p

My assassins are doing a pretty good job, they aren't miracle workers or magicians, but they are making a difference..cool marking too..

I had 2 for a long time, but I recently increased my amount of tanks and plants a lot and I've been having a lot more snail probs, grabbed 6 more assasin snails recently and the population is quickly being wiped out in multiple tanks. The're pretty amazing snails, I love em too.
