Noice!

Youre tanks look a little weird. Not the decor, but the tanks them selves. Whats with that?

The 15g was handmade by a friend's husband, so it has extra-high side walls, so that the light is about 8 inches above the cover glass.

The little 6g? Well, I wanted both lights to be at the same height, so I made a little wooden stand for it. So it's about a foot above the cover glass. Now, I have no skill in woodworking at all, was constantly ignored by teachers, so it ain't stylish.

Then, I have the 15g pointing one way and the 6g at a right angle to it.

Is that what you meant?

Well I would have posted the same question and that's what I would have meant. Just looked odd, that's all. Nothing wrong with it, except your woodworking skills. KIDDING!

My woodworking skills? Where are they?!
That was the best I could do. It's functional, not beautiful, but it's really stable, and that is what counted.

As for the handmade tank with high side and rear walls - yeah, it's a bit freaky (and does add to the weight of the tank which is bit of a bummer) but the principles are sound.

Thanks for comments everyone - and sorry that the Kuhli wasn't more identifiable!
I need to read all the threads and advice here about photographing a lot more carefully, methinks.

I don't know, my photo skills are pretty good, my camera just can't keep up. I think.
