I've had my soft shell turtle for many months now and this evening I noticed something new. When I went into the room to feed the fish and turtle, I noticed a black "flower" protruding from the rear of the turtle. I observed for a minute and watched as the black flower sunk back into the turtle's tail. Any idea of what this may be? I tried to find some info online, and the only results I could find were a turtle's penis, but the images were no where near the looks of my turtle. Any help is, as always, greatly appreciated. Thanks!
