ive had a hi-fin shark in my 55g for a week with no problems. the tank is community, moderately planted, and the parameters are fine with 80F temp. just now, i noticed about 5 white round things on him, small, 3 on his right body, one on his left, and one on the tail. I know this is a sign of ick possibly, but could it be a natural spot? hes still in the tank and i added pimafix.

after fighting for 10 minutes, hes in his own 20g hospital just in case

after 12 hours and 7 minutes of treatment most of the white spots are gone

Have you treated your main tank? Because ICH is always in the tank so realistically you are treating the tank rather than the fish.

If you have only treated the backup tank, you should treat your main tank as well.
