Use that to make pictures smaller. Select 600x450 (i think?), and then use the manage attatchments button to attatch it as a clickable thumbnail.

Everyone says that Java Fern does better with the roots out of the substrate. You might want to think about tying that plant to something.

Yes, I would anchor it to a piece of driftwood or rock in your tank with small fishing line, 2lb test or so.
20 lb. test works well too (well, it's all I could find...had to molest a fishing rod to get it...)...

hmm.. when my fern's daughter leaves float off I will tie em to a rock or something... Ill keep everyone posted on which grows better, one in the substrate or on a rock....

I have found that rubber bands are the easiest way to "tie" plants down. They aren't pretty, but they are only temporary anyway.
Whatever works.
