So last night, I added the reconmended doseage of Stability. Then, this morning, I added the next dose. I checked my Ammonia. At first, it looked as if there was none what so ever, but I decided to wait the 5 min as is says on the bottle and it slowly changed so that the reading was .25ppm. So what now? Do I need to do a water change?? I would do a trate and trite check, but Hobbs said I wont need to for a week, and to save my tests....opinions?

whose in your tank cycling it. Most likely they will be fine. Once your ammonia reaches .5 to .75 I would do a water change.
You are in a catch 22 in that you need ammonia in the tank for the bacteria to grow, but you also need to keep the ammonia level down to keep your fish alive. good luck. Since you have a cycled tank did you use seeded gravel to help speed up your cycle.

I wouldn't change it, it should be fine.

You need to be more patient. Cycling doesn't happen overnight.

Haha that's a given.....I may be new to the forum, and write about stuff in the beg. forum, but I have been around fish for most of my life. All I wanted to know was if the ammonia was too high and if I should change my water to protect my fish...

You don't need to change the water. The stability will protect your fish, they'll be fine. Stability will take care of the ammonnia for you while adding benefical bacteria to your tank and protect your fish, all in one product.
You should be on day 3. Any new readings?

As of right now, I am on day four. I just checked the ammonia and its at
< .25, nitrates are detectable, but under 20 nitrite is 0, hardness at 75, chlorine at 0, alkalinity is 0, and pH is at 7.1. I think my cycle may be complete! :19: *jumps around*
