Dempseys Breeding?

As I was cleaning the tank today I noticed a brown patch where the two Dempseys reside. Upon closer inspection it looked like eggs had been laid in a vertical position running up the base of the overflow. The female rests in a vertical position over the patch and the male patrols the perimeter. I don't want to get my hopes up so I came here for any clarification. I figured they would lay eggs flat and horizontally on the bottom, never heard or seen it in a vertical position, but I'm new to the breeding world of Dempseys. Any help would be great. The fish are in a 220g and don't bother the other fish unless they come right into their home.

Keeping my fingers crossed...I'm curious to see the outcome of a male Jack Dempsey and a female Gold Jack Dempsey...

sounds to me like they are breeding, as long as the eggs survive i would assume you will be seeing wigglers in about 3-5 days. Get yourself some brine shrimp eggs and start hatching them soon, baby cichlids eat like pigs. Also hikari first bites worked well for my fry recently.
