Originally for my 29 g community which isn't stocked yet I was looking into serpae tetras.....but now after hearing they can be fin nippers I was reconsidering a different fish.
I was wondering if anyone could reccommend a smaller community fish that likes to school.
Right now my tank stock list is looking something like this. note: it is a planted tank

1 honey gourami
7 h. rasboras
7 undecedid (what I am asking suggestions for)
3 oto cats
2-3 panda corys or serbai corys
misc. snails and other inverts

Neons, Myers Hatchetfish, and Dwarf Rasboras are 1 inch schooling fish.

I didn't think you'd get hatchets anyway.

Ya know, it's interesting. No one EVER mentions silver tip tetras. Maybe that's why I like 'em...a little less common.

I came across a deal and picked up eight of these little guys. At the store they looked like plain white minnows...but after a few days in my tank, and some good feeding, they all got a rich goldish/reddish hue and have VERY bright silver tips on all their fins.

They LOVE to school around in my 25g, and are VERY fast fish.
It seems like EVERYONE has neons, black skirts, and serpaes...I guess different is just fine with me ;)
