Giraffe Cichlid, Haplochromis Venustus

Hi Guys, I havent ben on for ages, well i havent posted anything which means (touch wood) my tank and fish have been doing well!)

Anyway, I am just curious, I have two Giraffe Cichlids and this is the reason for the question.

One was a lovely colour, girrafe markings etc but this week its head has turned pale blue. Does this mean its gone into breed colours or just reached maturity?

It is a male hitting sexual maturity.
