Hey,Guys
I've been waiting for this for a long time.
I bred my glowlights today.
There were millions of eggs floating around. The PH level was fine and the water was soft. But i got 1 tiny question:Its been a couple of hours since the eggs were layed and the eggs are half transparent and at the bottom of the egg is a white dot(all of the eggs have that)is this good or bad?

Additional details:
The tank temp is 82F
Its a 5gal tank
Loads of plants
No gravel

Much Help Appreciated

Good for you for even being able to SEE the eggs! LOL I see my glowlights spawn now and then but can't see the eggs. I do know the eggs need to be in subdued light. Hope you get a whole bunch of new fry swimming before long.

They're kid eaters, aren't they? I'll keep an infrared eye on this thread, since I have glowlights too but have seen no, you know.

All tetra's eat the eggs as soon as they spawn and why the adults have to be moved as soon as spawning is finished.

Congrats! thumbs2: I've had my glowlights for about a year now and no glowlight fry. The tank isn't really set up for spawning so I don't expect any but how exciting for you!

Good Luck and keep us updated!
