I don't even wanna think about how much the filtration, heaters, pumps, etc must cost. Especially water bill. Or what to even put in there !

Why red tails? You could split the difference and go to a black tipped shark.

lol, you know what'd suck? if you did get 3000 neons and you got a huge TB outbreak. you would have to remove a bunch of corpses and drain the whole tank

OK everyone, pop quiz!

1600g tank and a 5g bucket. How many buckets do you need to fill it up?

Bonus question:

If it takes an average of 4 minutes to fill the bucket, walk over to the tank, dump the water and walk back to the sink, how much time off work do you need to take to fill it up?

thumbs2:

cocoa_pleco
06-21-2007, 05:12 AM
320 buckets, and you need 1280 minutes off of work, or 21.3 hours. that would ROCK!

Drumachine09
06-21-2007, 05:15 AM
Now how high would your water bill be?

Unpractical size, but it would be a nice set up for Lady Hobbs Angels, Angels just love high tanks.

But besides water bills and electricity costs, how will you ever catch a fish in that tank??? Like a scuba diver?

If you think this is insane, somewhere in the Netherlands is a guy, which builds his house around his fishtank (no, not pond...TANK, tropical fresh water).

I hope I find the link.

Why buy that one off of ebay, when you can build your own 1700 gallon shark tank?
