I hope someone can help me with my problem.

The dragon goby is turning pale and loses all his colour. In the meanwhile he acts pretty normal bij swimming around and eating. Look a bit like a half dead fish swimming around....

I'm a bit worried so my question is: should i?

When he's out of his hole i'll try to make a picture.

maybe it is because he is on a much paler substrate? but tbh i have no idea. could maybe be stress or illness. hope u figure it out. good luck. peace.

The substrate shouldn't be the problem while he lives on it for over 8 months now.

He's now starting to get his colour back so hope the problem is solved.

i just meant he could be fading his colours to blend into the substrate. lots of bottom dwellers will do it. like bulrout and striped gudgeon.
but if the colours are returning there was probably some other issue.
nevertheless i have no experience with this type of fish so i dont know =P.

What salinity do you keep the water at?your plants look pretty good for having them in brackish water..
