Hello, I'm Justin and figured i would say hello and meet some knowledgeable people here.
I have a 55gallon planted tank, a 10 gallon planted tank, and a 9000 gallon outdoor pond. (soon to be acquiring a 10'x5'x4' in wall 1/2" tank from a friend)
I have a very diverse group of fish, ranging from koi and goldfish to loaches and ciclids. I would love anyone who is a good loach expert on here to maybe answer some questions for me sometime if anyone can direct me to that correct member here.
I take pride in custom making a lot of my aquarium parts and i like to try out new type of equipment to see what kind of results occur. I have custom designed a VHO light setup for my cheap plastic hoods that came on my 55 gallon when i couldn't find a hood that fit my needs. I also built a moon light setup with 6 wide angle hi intensity LED's for about 6 dollars from radio shack if anyone would like plans for one.
