I have a Oscar and was wondering if he can be put in with a Malawi cichlids? Anything else I should know?

no. biotopes cant be mixed. oscars are south american and malawis are african. Ive heard of large bloodparrots and jack dempsies working with oscars

Thats besides the fact that SA cichlids and malawis need very different parameters (ex, hardness and pH)
