Reputation Gold Seal?

I've noticed that some users have a gold seal ([Only Registered Users Can See Links.]) with their reputation bars. Where did those come from? Are they AC mods or winners of MOTM?

I remember reading somewhere that when you get enough reputation points were you cannot get another yellow dot, you automatically get a star and the line of dots (green to yellow) starts over again.

Yes, that's exactly how it works. !0,000 rep points equals a gold star.

Ahh ok. That explains why some people had a star and only one or two green bars.
