I've set up my 20 gal tank with 6 cory's and am ready to get 8 Columbian's. After my next cycle would I be able to fit 8 Buenos Aires or would that be to crowded? Thanks for any and all help.

I would probably avoid the Buenos Aires they are large tetras and a 20G just doesnt offer the space they need at adult sizes as they can easily exceede 3". Choose a smaller species of tetra and your numbers will work out fine especially if its a 20G long tank. :22:

I wouldn't even choose the Colombian Tetras for a 20 gallon. They are getting bigger, too. I have 15 in my 125 gallon.

As the other said, I would avoid them for a 20 gal.

+1. I agree that might be a bit overcrowded.
