ok i havnt posted in a while due to my upcoming exams.
i have 3 spot gouramis, 2 females which are rounded in the middle and 1 male who has built a bubble nest. yesterday i saw them engaging in the mating behaviour, flaring and the male wrapped aroudn the female under the nest and started shaking etc i even have a video (iphone taken) if anyone could tell me how they want to view it. my questions is how do i tell if there are eggs in the nest will it be obvious against the bubbles or do they blend in with them??

Congrats! That is very well done. The eggs hatch quickly and you will see tails in the nest shortly, usually 24 hours. Good luck with them.

Congratulations. Be careful, though. As soon as they hatch, if the adults notice them, they'll be eaten. The male generally only cares about the eggs.

You can upload the video on youtube.com if you just create an acct. Send us the link once you have it!

He is in his full breeding dress. They small so they may be hard to see. You will know if there are any viable eggs shortly.
