Wholesale Marimo balls???

I am looking for wholesale marimo balls by the thousands.

If anyone knows where this large of a quantity could be purchased, please let me know.

Er...don't know about lots of 1000, but aquabid usually has lots of 30 or 50 up for auction. Maybe contact some of those sellers?

I'm definitely curious as to what someone would do with thousands of Marimo Balls.
Maybe contact your LFS and where they make bulk plant purchases, or find out how to culture your own chlorophyta.

Contact Florida Aquatic Nurseries ([Only Registered Users Can See Links.]), they should be able to give you hand there... but you'll need a wholesale license to order from them.

Otherwise I'd talk to sellers like AquaticMagic and Howesomething on aquabid, they should have access to tons of marimo moss balls... ordering from sellers from out of country is always risky given the fact the shipment could be stopped for several days to weeks in customs...

You could order as much as your budget would allow- a few hundred. Then split them.

I am thinking filling shallow rubbermaid tubs with water and adding lots of overhead light. You should have a good amount of them-because if you split them in half/thirds etc. They grow back. You could even add a heater and breed some cherry shrimps!
