I made this as a plant nursery for growing out baby and sick plants. Hopefully it will work well. I have to make a reflector for the bulb out of some aluminum sheeting. The reactor works well since the Co2 never reaches the bottom of the bottle.

I add baking soda and its never happened to me yet. I usually put in another bottle in between to clean the gas a bit and prevent runback but as this is a tank just for plants, I didnt see the need.

Could you draw up and post a diagram to that reactor? Looks like a nice setup, Aeon, great work as always.

Just FYI Mylar is a superior reflector to aluminum. A little more expensive but worth it.

Cool setup. I've never seen a reactor like that before.

That's true but there are cheap ways to find it. Go to a grocery store or a party store and get mylar balloons but don't have them inflated. Cut the seam around the edge of the balloon and you'll have 2 circular pieces of mylar on the cheap.

That, sir, is an awesome solution!

I added baking soda when I was doing yeast for CO2. Works great. Just don't add too much or the fermenter turns into paste and doesn't generate as much CO2.
