Now I know what clamped fins mean. My poor male Platy has had clamped fins for several weeks, not constantly clamped. I was not sure if he was constipated, nervous (hen-pecked), or something else. I still do not know for certain, but now I have one more treatment to try. Now if only I could figure out how to put one fish on a diet in a tank full of other fish - my female Platy is a pig and a food hog, and enormously fat. Otherwise, she is very active, clearly eats well, and shows no signs of distress.
