Geez. I think these guppies and mollies I have in my 20g. are not understanding the 'way of things'. Since they have been there, months mind you, not a single fry. Don't ever see any!
I realize, some are probably gobbled up, but surely with the amount of plants, one or two would have lived by now.
My females get nice a plump, the lighter ones, I can see a gravid spot, and then, poof- not fat and no babies. Anywhere.
I think I need to see a fish fertility doctor. Geez. And if I didn't want them to breed, they would be throwing them out all the time! UGH! LOL!

When I started out with livebearers I went months and never seen any fry, didn't think I would ever have them. What changed it for me was to give them better hiding places, a small wall of stacked flat rocks that had plenty of cracks and spaces that only they could fit in.
The best eater of fry in my tank are the zebra danios, I've seen them eat fry that my gold gourami passes on because they gotten too big for her taste. If your zebra's are plump and have a little smile on their face you know where your fry ended up.

I must say...that is strange :scratchheadyellow: . I have new babies every few days...:fishgreen:
Maybe try feeding them a little more so they don't eat all the babies! :fish2:

Not only do the mollys eat their own young but most likely eating the guppies, as well.

I mean, I have livebearers since I started fish keeping. And, I had no where near the amount of plants/hiding spots as I have now. And I had fry- ones that survived to- actually alot. But these fish are just not with it!
They eat! They usually eat in the morning and the evening- and I throw in extra food for the frogs- and to make sure the cory's get some too. Geez.
