Which bottom feeding fish (corys, plecos) can stand the roughness of flourite?

Corys would be fine as well as shrimp or snails I assume. Pleco's that get large would not be good.

If I used fluorite again, I would wait until the roots grab hold, tho. My featherfin was riping out the bunch plants nightly.

My experience with flourite and gravel with cories wasn't good. My cories seemed to grow much larger barbels once I removed them from the tank and had them somewhere else with sand. Once I started using the gravel vac the flourite mixed in with the gravel quite a bit and they seemed to suffer for it.
