Wanted to ask you. During which time is the freshwater diving up around you good?

Spring is great before the algae bloom. All year you can dive the old mining pits up in the Brainard area. Lotsa mines to explore. Like underwater spelunking. Spring and fall are great for shallow diving and the heat of mid summer you need to go deep. Lake Superior has some wrecks you can dive as well. I know some who dive in winter with drysuits but too cold and dark for me...I am scared of the dark underwater!

OK. Which time is best for catfish?

Night...But you use spotlights above the water and it illuminates it quite a bit. I prefer to fish for catfish.

We don't go to see cats...in fact I have only seen one that wasn't attached to a hook and worm. Thank God he was going the other way. We go to watch walleye. Their eye glow white with the lights. Kinda cool.
