Stocking my 29 Gallon and I have another question...

So far I want:

6 Cardinal Tetras
2-3 Swordtail
3-4 Corydoras
1 Bolivian Ram (Male)

And I want another dwarf cichlid, don't want another Ram because I can see problems (Either fry or a ton of fighting), dont want to risk it.

I was thinking something in the Apistogramma family, any suggestions that would work in my tank?

Thanks

IME mixing rams and apistos does not work well. Stick to a lone bolivian or a pair of bolivians.

Ok ty, I was thinking of doing that but then though 2 species would look cooler than one.. Ill probably stick to a pair.

I'd agree with Labby... I'd actually just stick with a single bolivian, even having a male and female is hit and miss, I've got one of each in a 75 and they're territorial towards one another lol, keep at opposite ends of the tank.

If you want 2 dwarf cichlids that look different I'd go with a pair of apistos... most of the females and males are quite a bit different... njisseni would be awesome because both male and female are gorgeous.
